The gabion basket is made of twisted hexagonal woven mesh. The metal wire used to make gabion baskets is made of soft tensile heavy galvanized steel, and PVC coating can also be used for additional corrosion protection when the application requires. The double twisting of the woven wire mesh provides structural integrity, strength and continuity by increasing the non-loosening effect of preventing any accidental damage from spreading. Fastening wires are used to assemble and interconnect empty units and to close and fix stone filling units. Once assembled, the basket will be filled with stones at the scene.
It is mainly used as the slope protection structure of river, bank slope and subgrade slope.It can prevent the river from being destroyed by water flow and wind waves, and realize the natural convection and exchange function between the water body and the soil under the slope to achieve the ecological balance.Slope planting green can add landscape and greening effect.
